Erika is an experienced trial attorney who focuses her practice in the area of medical malpractice.

Erika began her legal career as a deputy prosecuting attorney in 2005 in St. Joseph County, Indiana. While there, she participated in a multitude of hearings and jury trials. Erika then spent several years representing survivors of high lethality domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking cases. In that role, she trained hundreds of community members on protective orders and the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault. Erika also acted as the Interim Executive Director for a non-profit organization, gaining experience in grant writing and non-profit management. Erika built a history of working closely with her clients and she values the trust that her clients place in her as they navigate their legal issues.

Erika was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. In 2002, she graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a B.S. in Finance. Erika went on to earn her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, Erika served as an Associate Editor on the Law Review and she also held a judicial externship in Lake County, Indiana.

Erika is licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana and in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She is a member of the St. Joseph County Bar Association.

Erika is a member of the Junior League of South Bend, and she continues to advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
