George centers his practice around real-estate and M&A transactions, estate planning, and developing a South Bend-region accelerator for SBIR|STTR grants and awards to emerging businesses.

In his practice, George has represented:

  • private real-estate developers using tax-increment financing for downtown redevelopment;
  • physicians in their sale/purchase of their practice, including accompanying related employment and real-estate matters;
  • borrowers and lending institutions in connection with secured and unsecured commercial loans; and
  • individuals for wills, trusts, and estate needs.

George was born and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton (Finance, Accounting) and cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While at IU, George advanced to the national rounds of the LawMeets transactional-drafting competition held in New York City. George also worked in the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at IU. There, he assisted Bloomington-area businesses in a variety of matters including entity formation, venture-capital financing, and a commercial real-estate tax appeal.
