Jon's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and labor and employment litigation and counseling. He represents businesses in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration. For example, Jon has:

  • Defended an orthopedics manufacturer against products liability actions in a multi-district litigation;
  • Defended a manufacturer against sexual harassment claims before the Indiana Civil Rights Commission;
  • Represented an international art gallery in pursuing its breach of contract claims;
  • Defended a major bank against multi-million dollar construction lien claims;
  • Defended a pharmaceutical manufacturer against breach of contract, civil RICO, and antitrust claims;
  • Represented a medical supply manufacturer in enforcing non-compete agreements;
  • Defended major financial institutions against securities fraud claims;
  • Defended a trustee against breach of fiduciary duty claims related to the Madoff Ponzi scheme.

Prior to joining LaDue Curran & Kuehn, Jon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Victor Marrero of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Honorable D. Brooks Smith of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Jon also worked as a litigation attorney for law firms in New York City and Northern Virginia, focusing on complex commercial litigation.

Jon graduated from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in 2003 with High Distinction. In 2006, he earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as an articles editor for the Notre Dame Law Review. Jon is a member of the New York and Virginia State Bars. His application to the Indiana State Bar is currently pending.
